About

When I sit with clients, I hope to understand the context(s) and world(s) in which they live. I believe the work of therapy is about uncovering and finding layers of freedom.  The deeper into those layers we go, the more meaning and purpose we find in the stories we currently live. I look to make connections between your past and present day life.

People will often recreate the most painful stories in their lives without knowing in an attempt to get a different outcome. Many times, we need someone to walk alongside us, helping us to see better options or new openings to paths previously unseen. In doing so, we heal the wounds that grabbed our attention in the first place. In this process, people can find and discover hidden and unformed parts of themselves.

I consider it an honor to listen and make space for the stories that clients bring.

My areas of expertise are sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, and women's issues.
